With a Soft Touch
“With a Soft Touch” is the title for the current show…seven artists… Richard Tuck’s is the soft touch of a surgeon with a scalpel. Some of his tones are pale, it’s true. But light can be as hard and glaring in these graphic pencil drawings as in the parched chromatics of the paintings of Philip Pearlstein. Some of the geometrics patterns are sharp as knives. -Patricia Krebs, Special Daily News
